Norman Carr Safaris Brand Film

Norman Carr established Luangwa's first safari camp in 1950. Back when the African safari was considered a hunting experience Carr’s pioneering vision was to encourage the practise of photographing wildlife rather than shooting it. His remarkable foresight into sustainable conservation led to the first initiatives to include local people in the management of wildlife resources. This commissioned film is a reflection of his legacy some 60 years on. It reveals a proliferation of wildlife, the beauty of the South Luangwa Valley, a prospering community and the ultimate bush lodge experience that is Norman Carr Safaris.
